A common perception is that tree branches are an ugly, unwanted obstruction, and a lot of times they are/can be. But here, with your composition, they work pretty well. I like the backdrops of the buildings in each, but the photo at the left has become my favorite of the two.

thanks man! what i do is just scan the negative and the area around it, some cameras have a signature black border/notches around them (hasselblad, bronica, and others i don't know) some don't. i've found it's really hard to get them to fit strait and evenly, even with this new negative holder w/glass plate i got for about 100$. after i scanned, i just put them together in cs4, i used to picasa.
