I would really like to make a story/comic of this one...or at least an illustration...like you read in a book .Drew this while I watched Dungeons & Dragons for the 2nd times...... It inspired me. I've always wanted dragons as a friend! Dragons =
!!!! If only... they were real (which I wished so). The dragon's hands & claws suck. Sorry. I can't draw hands and this goes for non-human creatures too! .
Ran out of space for the wings.
. Will color this when I have spare time...The proportions is incorrect but what the hell. Art can be ugly and incorrect sometimes. Oh yeah, sorry for the weak shading - I'm just messing with it because I'll color it anyway...so like I said, I just didn't/don't care.
Medium: Pencils, erase and spare time. This one took me like an hour or something...Started two days ago and finished same time.

You know, I've thought about drawing him. But I can't draw very well... I guess I'll give it a shot. Anyways have you ever heard of Dragon Fable? Once you reach a certain level you can have your own dragon!!

It's up to draw by using references - you draw better when you use references. This way, you can see what's wrong and what to be fixed rather than draw from imagination. But honestly I drew this from a memory - I saw a dragon with a girl artwork before but because I couldn't find the source I had to rely on the memory and references that has the similarity of what I had in mind.
Just like the rest says; Just draw and use references (draw from ref. is very essential! I need to do it more often).

You know, I hate it when great artists bash themselves, so be quiet. A million people would kill for your talent- i have people that want mine, but mine's no good so they actually want yours. >>
Head has nice perspective- horns are symmetrical and even, and face shape helps the bowing head. Claws and arms are really good too; I love the scale work and shading, especially on the neck. Head shading probably should have been a little more off, because it appears to blend with the neck slightly, but otherwise also looks great. :3
I really like the eyes and head...they're both really good! And you, sitting there; you look so cute. and slightly oblivious to the hovering beastie behind you, but I suspect you're just wrapped up in a good book. Yeah.

Sorry for a very late reply! To be honest I don't think there's anything special with my skills/talents. It's just hard work...I still have a lot to grasp! So many things to learn

It's just from my childhood I used to watch a crappy tv-show where a boy found a dragon egg in a cave and became friend with it...I can't remember the ending what heppened next - because I didn't watch it ever since...it was too boring. D8>

Yes, I was the same way - a crappy TV show would start my imagination and it would run away with me. Most of the kids I knew always thought dragons were too scary (and evil) which is why I always wanted one, THEY would be afraid to bother me.
I couldn't see your mistake at all, but I know how difficult hands/talons can be. I thought it was a very nice drawing!
