I wanted to show an in-progress sketch on something new I'm making because I was randomly hit with motivation after going mad on my Web Design homework. I understand this isn't new cause many people do this, similar to them doing their action poses together that they are so famous on. Yet, why I did this, is kind of laziness, yes, but also, I wanted to have all 9 mercs, so I can try to attempt on understanding how facial structures work since they're so unique. The downfall was I rarely do men, I also don't do front shots, I'm more a 45-degree angle, and with Heavy anyway, I don't do big guys either since I'm still trying to understand anatomy. So, this was asking for disaster, with improvements in some way.

However, even with my flaws in art, I still feel proud of this, so far. I understand there are still flaws, yet luckily this is the clean sketch then the outline, so I can change it later if I so, please. Though I will say, Sniper specifically looks better in this, than when I did him 5 months ago. Which I posted in my scrap gallery. When I did him, I kept the same facial structure I do with all my other characters at the time, even still being stuck on the female look. I did try to "alternate it", and yet he looked wrong as if he wasn't "Sniper" based on how I did it then how I did in this new version. It's also in ways similar to the current Medic I posted a month ago, but that was more so I didn't have a reference when I did it compared to how this one did, which is why it feels better.

Anyway, before I ramble more, I hope you guys enjoy this particular piece. If I do happen to finish it, I also hope you will enjoy that. If you wish you could express any form of criticism on the piece if I did your favorite character wrong, or even with my style. I always appreciate feedback.
