Description Legend 5
Bahal Ledrene of the Dead/ Vünderrhel The Realm of Death Part 1

....The first race of beings to be born into the newly created Universe were made in the image of both Arendüviir and Vahlrävehn. These beings would soar through the skies of their world on feathered wings and swim in its clear and bountiful oceans. These beasts were kind and beautiful; raising their children with song and plentiful unending food....

....but after eons a terrible new event began to unfold....

Death and Non-existence came to the Cosmos

Over the course of many nights The First Race began to die. The Old would wither and decay while their young children suffocated or were born still and lifeless. Before long only one remained.

A lone golden scaled Mother drowning in sorrow over the loss of Her loved one and Their children. This Mother known as "Bahal" would weap for 100 days until at last the Gods of Light and Fire and Magick would appear.

The Gods would listen as Bahal told them Her stories and how Her Race came to an end. Fearing that more in the Universe would meet this same fate; Arendüviir proposed an idea for a Realm where the souls and spirits of the Dead could reside. Yhimm would weave stars and flame, Arendüviir casting pure primordial light, and Vahlrävehn would spread Magick throughout the cosmos, weaving the Magick between the fabric of the Universe.

The result of the Gods' efforts was a Realm separate from the rest of the young cosmos. This plane was Scarlett in hue and barren; made up of long and unending plains and hills. The sky an ever changing display of blazing orange and dark violets.

With the Realm now in existence Arendüviir and Vahlrävehn departed to resume Their duties. Yhimm took the Grieving Bahal and have Her the important task of shepherding the Dead to this new Realm, and caring for them as Her new family. Bahal accepted this task and soon the scarlet realm would welcome the newly deceased. Over the centuries the Dead would build towns and villages, bridges over the rivers and glorious Temples and Castles. The land slowly became alive; each and every Dead Soul was treated with love and kindness by Bahal who who defended them with fierce determination.

Bahal would begin to fly among the blazing skies, spreading Her blackened wings wide to soar eternally. Her golden scales and fur glistening in the unending glow. The denizens would take inspiration from Bahal's great curling horns and flowing fur; crafting great sculptures and symbols of the realm. Soon the architecture of the land began to twist and flow like its Guardian soaring through the skies. Her blue eyes a stark contrast to the scarlet hue of the land would become the main color of most clothing and adornment.

As the Realm grew older and Bahal learned to use Her grief to find meaning in Her tasks; the land began to change. The scarlet hills became mountains and at their roots formed great Forests. The lakes and rivers flowed into great oceans. The Dead would name their home "Vünderrhel", and would worship Bahal as their Eternal Guardian and Leader.

Many would travel to the Great castle and Cathedral that Bahal called home. The Dead would perform musical acts to which the great guardian would join in, others leaving stories and works of art: all would show their eternal gratitude to Their Guardian of Death.

So through the Eons would Vünderrhel continue to evolve and prosper. Bahal looking over the Dead as Her own family, while still searching for the souls of Her own Race....
