Art block must be... EXTERMINATED.No seriously, this is the first piece of GOOD art I've drawn since =AphexAngel was arrested/charged/released/facing court/blah (Still going on, by the way, still no word or news either). I've been stuck with an art block for a while, but this piece finally broke it. That and loads of Doctor Who episodes, courtesy of =AphexAngel aka bestest roommate ever.

Yeah, that was a pretty rough patch in life for me back then. That and I think the running joke is I (unconsciously) NEVER draw Pam in a good situation. She's always injuring herself or being attacked or whatnot. She needs more love.

Well, however bad a day this fox girl is having, it's certainly not carrying into your art quality. This is some of the best work I've seen from you yet, and between you and me, that's saying something! I really love the editing on this one - she really pops out of the picture! I just adore the painted look, too.

Heh, thanks. I was trying to apply some techniques I learned in my painting class to my digital art. It still could be a LOT better. The original sketch was just that, a sketch.
And yes, I'm glad to be drawing again.

Heh, I still have a LONG way to go before I hit a professional level, but I appreciate the compliment. I think it's been doing me good to hang around more comic artists, study realism, and stop taking cues from Anime. College art classes have helped, too.

Yeah, the whole court thing has been drawn out to ridiculous lengths. I really hope it gets resolved sometime before Christmas, or something. Having Aphex for such an extended stay has been nice, though, even through the legal bullshit and housing issues.
