the brush of yellow/gold in the eyes is a perfect compliment.

Hi Jamie,

Your comment could very well be an easy favorite too, haha~
It's always curious to know which piece in the series people gravitate towards--
my predictions almost always go awry

Hey Adriana,

What a pleasure to hear from you~
I'm self taught when it comes to art, so it's a lot of trial and error for me--I never know how a painting is going to turn out, and that uncertainty in the process can bring many highs but also many blows...
It's necessary for me to be extra disciplined and critical of myself because I don't have guidance, but I suppose if you care about something deeply,
you grit your teeth and just dive headlong into the I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing abyss.
However, I did study architecture, and I even did a semester abroad in Florence, which is why I find your father's city sketches not only beautiful but also somewhat nostalgic for me ^^

What did/do you study?

Hi!!!
I am also glad to hear from you!!!
Oh, self-taught!!! That's amazing!!! Your works are very good and it's normal to be critical on yourself, I think this is how we progress in what we do,no matter the field.
Besides, as long as you draw or paint for pleasure, both critiques and praise are welcome, I guess!!!
Awww, so you studied Architecture!! Interesting and difficult field! Oh, Italy is one of my favourite countries. My father visited many places there that brought him.lots of inspiration, but I only was in Rome about fuve years ago.
So you liked Italy, too!!! I amglad my father's sketches reminds you of your time spent there!!
Well, I studied many things. I attended music school and played the violin for 8 years, I studied Mathematics and Physics but they weren't for me and then Literature at the university! My passion for Arts came from my father!!

Hey Owy
How are you doing? Is the worst over with school? Hang in there!
Also, it'd be interesting to hear some of your thoughts for liking this one more~
I'm always curious as to how people interpret my works

Hehe I will graduate in 2 months (hopefully xd)
And I like this piece more because of the range of different colors that you used in this one . I would also like to say that in these one the colors merge so well with one another you could say it feels really "refreshing" to look at it
Another reason why I tend to like this one more is because of the hair. You see, in the first one the hair is static and because of that I don't get the vibe of "Unleashing the Storm" but in this one the hair flows with the breeze and it's just so much more appealing to me haha xD
Oh, and I also like the fact that her nose is red, it's like she has a really bad cold but even that doesn't stop her going through the storm. It's funny that I find the piece refreshing since being sick is kind of the opposite haha. But I think I find it this way mostly because of the mixture of blue and green ^_^
Very good job with this piece once again!

Hi Owy,
What a great comment~ I think you bring up some good points, so thank you for sharing!
With the first drawing, I didn't plan it at all, so I had to figure things out as I went.
With the second one, I already had a clear vision for where it was going, so the process went much much more smoothly.
So smoothly I was surprised--seemed to easy, haha~
Your point about her having a cold made me laugh
2 months huh! Must be a little stressful though right before graduation. You can do it you can do it!
