This was done in like an hour, in my messy cartoon/realistic style ( MAKES NO SENCE? I KNOW.)

Always together, joined at the hip.
Mr. Gregory frowned at the pair subconsciously as they sat by the fire, chatting away, Wolfhounds at their feet. The night was closing in around them and he hoped it was the cold forcing them to sit so close, though he doubted it. Old, but not stupid.
He worried, a lot, that he might be going soft in his older years.
Shaking his head, he wrapped himself in his cloche and settled on the ground, turning his back to the pair. What could he do, really?
Alice had done her bit, earned her keep. Not even he could deny that. But Tom falling in love with a Witch? How stupid could he be? Hadn’t he learned anything in his years fighting the dark?
And then his heart sank, like it always did when he thought of her.
Meg.
He tried his best to pry her out of his mind, but she stayed there, stubborn as ever.
She had always looked so damn beautiful, her face the bane to his dreams. She would invade his thoughts from time too time, and he always felt so old, so spent, when he realised he’d never get to touch that face again.
Frustrated at himself, he sighed.
Sometimes, only sometimes... he wished he could go out and find her... though he doubted she’d be anything like he remembered her.
Besides, being in love with her... it was like being in love with the Dark.
Not that that ever stopped him.
