Description The grey gelding’s nose tracked the ground, using his muzzle to push twigs and grass about as he sniffed out for the treats. All of the riders had hidden treats for horses on Easter, a twist on what he could only grab as them searching for these little brightly colored oval shaped things that someone hid for the rest to find. He was much like a bloodhound, keeping his nose to the ground as he sniffed out apples and mints and licorice. In the midst of his treat hounding he stepped on a large branch, as it snapped underneath him, even he launched backwards, but his attention was more so grabbed by that of another horse who literally spooked, rearing up before circling quickly, as if looking for the spot it was trying to run away from. All the while Fox just watched, completely entertained as the horse seemingly having a mental break down, or well, that’s what Fox called it, he’d never seen a horse react to a bang like that. Sure he’d backed up off of it, but he didn’t panic.

He watched the black stallion for a few minutes until his rider eventually came over, calming him down and leading him over to where she’d known there was a hidden treat, and Fox just snorted. Turning his rump to the stallion he continued his search. Fox watched carefully for a minute, watching as the black went back to looking as well, snorting, Fox walked under a low branch in a tree, paused, then looked at it again, throwing his head he bucked, Fox’s hind legs struck the branch making it snap and fall to the ground. Quickly jumping forward so it didn’t fall on him, he turned to watch the black again. This time the stallion rapidly backed up, snorting and throwing his head up until he fully rose up into the air again, pawing at the air. Landing, he watched as the stallion trotted over to his rider, who had jogged over when she saw him rear. Eyeing them carefully. He waited, until he was almost calm again, then approached the branch on the ground. This time, Fox reared up, braced his legs, then came down full force on the branch. It snapped again and the black side-stepped away from his rider and the girl just glared at Fox. The black looked at the rider, then Fox, and Fox just lowered his head to the ground, obviously guilty, looking up at the black he watched as he pinned his ears at him, obviously unhappy with the grey’s shenanigans.
