Wow, the coloring on this is amazing. What brand of markers was used to color this? I can't seem to replicate anything anyone does on DA....maybe I should quit with the marker routine.

I used Prisma markers. I've developed a few different techniques over the years.

See, those are what I use and sometimes I feel satisfied with them, and other times, super angry at them. What colors do you use for skin? I am so indecisive about what colors are good for skin.

It really depends on the skin-tone.
All Caucasians get a layer a cream followed by a layer of eggshell. Depending on the skin tone (and to a certain extent, the nature of the character -- ie how much time they spend outside), I use Light Peach and then Light Walnut to shade. If it's someone who is more pale, I will shade with Light Peach and use Light Walnut sparingly.
Beyond that, it's scale, using (in order): Light Peach, Light Walnut, Walnut, Light Mocha, Dark Mocha, and sometimes Dark Umber. (I just realized that my gallery lacks diversity. Ugh).
Does that help at all?

Oh dear, I just private noted you with this topic. I'm sorry, I'll make a list of what you have provided me with and will use what's left of my coupons to get these colors. Thank you for giving me a new palette, so to speak.
