Meme I made after finishing the game for the first time a few weeks ago (like 2). I had this thought (that I spoke aloud while playing the game) that Squid’s projectiles he aims at you (and whatever) are well, hard to dodge, and remind me of a hollow knight primal aspid XD. So I drew Squid primal aspid, or Squaspid. What am I doing 😭😭💀
I forgot my exact thought process or situation when I was playing that got me to think of and make this, but in my description here I think I was close 🤔.

Used a reference photo and uh traced it for the lineart. Specifically the first frame of this gif that became not a gif when I put it into IbisPaintX. Couldn’t find any full-body primal aspid refs apparenly 🤷🤷

Oh yeah and hollow knight primal aspids are a meme amongst the community. Take what the Hollow Knight Wiki describes them as, because I can’t say it very well whops
”Generally hovers outside of melee reach and spits three blobs of venom in a spread, the middle one typically aimed at the Knight, making the attack very difficult to dodge, especially at close range.”
Yeah it’s a flying enemy and spits projectiles at you. The fandom hates them, and I understand why Xd 😭
