Description

I'm jumping on the MerMay bandwagon like I'm late for a bus while I got time on my hands.

I was recently inspired by LilburgerD4 's prehistoric Primal style creature mermaid which looked very alien and mysterious in origin, and grindeath-art 's one which had a dark and chilling atmosphere which I loved.

And so here I am. I used Coelacanths as a basis for the fish anatomy cause I love their weird large extra fins, and then I strung it together with a physicality of large seals like the leopard and elephant seals who are very intimidating.

But I also wanted to keep her "maid" part as well so I kept some hair and a humanoid upper half, though a bit more smooth and muscled to fit a sort of streamlined figure of a sea creature. I like how this turned out. Feels very solid.
