It was that "wonderful" time of the year again. The time for the holidays. Which to your best friend, Alfred, meant Christmas. Each year he would have a huge Christmas party and trick some poor sap to pay for it. Each one was bigger then the last. And this was Senior year, so it was going to be huge.

"Hey, [Y/N], what color should the cake be this year?!" Alfred practically shouted at you when you were literally sitting down right next to him in this place where you're supposed to be as silent as possible. The library. Never would you take him here to "study" again when all he did was plan for his Christmas party.

"Something neon...as usual..." You mumbled your answer while chewing on your pencil's eraser. Now let's see this problem you were working out now. 3 divided by the square root of 54 subtracted by 10 and added by x. What is x? You tried not to flip the table. "Why do I have to solve where Algebra's exes are?!" You shouted. Alfred laughed.

"Still fuming over it?" You knee exactly what he was talking about. Your last and only ex. Finding ex always had you think of him. There was so way that you could forget about him. He was even going to be at Alfred's Christmas party!

You started to look distressed and Alfred took note of this. He thought of a way to get your mind off of it. "Oh!" He gave his signature laugh and ignored the hushes he got from others in the library. "[Y/N], guess who's gonna be the poor sap who pays for the Christmas party this year?!" At that sentence you knew exactly who.

"Alfred! You are..." You thought of a compliment that would make him as happy as you. "Such a hero!" At that line he gave his signature laugh. You never got tired of it.

By the time you two were heading out of the library it wasn't even close to night. As soon as you two headed out of the library Alfred's cowlick stood up and seemed to shiver. You started laughing. "Haha! Alfred! Your nantucket is shivering!" You wiped a tear from laughing so hard.

Alfred then stopped walking. He waited until you noticed and also stopped walking. "Alfie, what're you doing? Come on!" You stood behind him and tried to push. Of course he didn't move. He only turned around.

"[Y/N], I'm cold." You rolled your eyes because he just stated the obvious.

"And?"

"Let's be penguins! Y'know like March of the Penguins! Just stand next to each other really close ad share our body heat!" As soon as this phrase was over, well, you two "were penguins."
