Hey everyone
So, recently i reached a very awesome point in my career as a shiny hunter: I caught my 100th shiny Pokemon
To celebrate this i decided to upload a pic, showing a lot of shinies of which i've taken a picture.
This pic contains "only" 73 of them because when i was younger i didn't take a picture and sometimes i simply forgot itxD
Please don't post any comments about trading. I will keep most of my shinies for myself, i mean i hunted them, right?xD
But don't worry, i will do a lottery soon where you can win shiny Pokemonm for free
Last but not least, here are some intersting facts of my 4 years shiny hunter career:
- My first shiny was a shiny Grimer in Firered. At that point i didn't knew that shiny Pokemon exist but i caught it, because i thought it was ill and i wanted to bring it to Nurse JoyxD Grimer also happended to have a 5% encounter rate, so pretty rare fisrt shinyxD
- My 100th shiny was a shiny Tauros which i found randomly in a horde while EV-training, Tauros-hordes are pretty rare, so again luckyxD
- My top 3 shortest hunts (really hunts not randomly found):
- shiny Heracross in Firered after 23 Encounters
- shiny Purrloin in White after 3 Encounters
- shiny Cryogonal in X after one egg through Masuda method
- My top 3 longest hunts:
- shiny Heatmor in White after 17851 Encounters
- shiny Drifloon in Diamond after 19477 Soft Resets
- shiny (female) Combee in HG after 44579 Pokemon seen
-Fails:
- Soft resetted over a shiny Totodile
- Soft resetted over a shiny Treecko
- Game froze after shiny Heatmor appeared
- Uncatchable shiny Poochyena twicexD
- Most valuablest shinies:
- shiny Scatterbug of course, i hatched 1158 eggs for itT_T
- shiny Feebas, i really searched those patches in R/S and then fished for it, after only 1174 Pokemon, a purple one appeared
- shiny Combee of course, i went through pain for this, i love my shiny Vespiquen
Alright, i think that enough, it's really nostalgic for me to look at this picxD

Yup, it was the one attacking Birch while I was SRing for a shiny MudkipxD In the end I got two of those before Mudkip shone

I know all my 1st shinies from every method.
Random encounter: Graveler in Pearl (Caught it, but lost the game card)
Soft reset: Cresselia in OR (In the middle of my art class, too.)
Friend Safari: Klefki (Actually, the first 3 shinies I got in FA were ALL KLEFKIS.
Horde: Gulpin in Y (Somehow traded for a shiny Latios)
Chain fish: Qwilfish
Pokeradar: FAILED Skiddo (walked into wrong patch when I found the shiny...)
DexNav: Zangoose, just last Monday
(iin the middle of English class, since i had to be quiet, i ended up shivering violently for several minutes. I was suprised nobody noticed...)
Masuda Method: Omanyte in Y
My first hunted shiny was a Liepard.
My latest shiny is my Beedrill from DexNav, caught this afternoon at a chain of 680+.
My first fail was a chain fish Luvdisc, it used Take Down after my Bisharp used False Swipe.
My last fail I think was a shiny Basculin. I ran from it by accident, but I didn't really care. I was like, "Oops, oh well."

Sorry, about some of the fails though, sometimes it's harsh
Just a lil' tip from me: Never use False Swipe, some Pokemon just end up knocking themself out due to selfinflicted damage or some other stupidity like Flame Body activates or soxD
Just put them to sleep and then throw balls, money to buy balls is easy to obtain, shinies aren'txD

Yeah, I almost lost a shiny Zoroark I chained for a guy while I had my Talonflame in the lead.

Meh, my sister lost it, so she had to buy me a new one and that's why I have Y. I like the Dragalge better, LOL~ I don't use her much though. (For some reason, my Pokemon tend to be female. Not sure why.)

Until I got Y, I have never owned a Shiny, my brother has, though. The first Shiny I found was a Pancham, while I was hatching Oshawotts. The second Shiny was a Venipede, and that was while walking up to Parfum Palace to look for a Magikarp, and my most recent was a Gothorita while using the Poke Radar. Good piece there.

I have been Shiny Hunting quite a bit lately. My recent shiny encounters:
Shiny Turtonator on Pokemon Sun (Hatched on the third egg)
Shiny Linoone on Pokemon Heart Gold, and two days ago, while in the Johto Safari Zone, I encountered a Shiny Rhydon. Unfortunately, the Shiny Rhydon ran away (after five failed attempts to catch it, and I had eight Safari Balls left).

That's rough with the Rhydon, I bet at some other point you'll get some good luck with a shiny as a compensation xD

If you really want one you could either use the Masuda Method like me, which could take a while though or use the Pokeradar

Amazingly, I don't feel jealous, just amazed. I've only ever had 2 shinies (a weedle on gold which was accidently released instead of another mon and I hadn't saved before, and a whismur on ruby), and the effort you've gone through to get these...Wow! That's commitment. I also like the German. I remember studying it at school and enjoying it, so... Sehr gut!

For the most of my shinies I really sat down and searched them, without doing that I would have like 10 or sox)
So, yeah how much shinies you have basically boils down to the time you have to invest into shiny hunting and at that time in my life I often searched after school or so.
But still congrats though on the shiny Whismur though, one is better than no onexD And dagger about the Weedle
And nice, I think German is actually a very tough to learn language
