Soooo... I'm very proud to present you Zair, Deira's mate.I haven't touched gouache paint for a while. This is the second gouache painting I did ever, and I killed myself doing this background.
This is the most detailed background I ever did.
I love it. I love it so much.
It is A5-sized in original.
I will sell prints of it to anyone who's interested.

Lovely job, great use of color. I'm sure it looks even more beautiful in person. Gouache has a really great vibrancy at times.

Yes, it is one of those works of a quality you can hardly reach later, one of the best I'll ever produce I think - but maybe one day I'll be able to beat my own record marks.

I love the contrast! It's almost as if it's raining down on the forest and the sun is coming out to illuminate the raindrops.

Very cool looking. The bg colors are kind of muted, which is nice, brings out the darkblue/purple a little more. Is he supposed to be that fuzzy? Well, more fluffy, really. I can tell the blue is scales, although the image is a little small.

Yes, I intended to give him a very soft look. He is a character from a story I work on, so it has it's purpose. A little bit long to tell, though.

Uhm. Okay. You put some gouache on your palette, smudge it around randomly, than take a little brush and start to paint the background, and after it's finished, you paint the character. This will prevent you from getting bored and not completting the picture. Ah, and photo references are your best friend while painting.

Wenn ich das auf A3 drucke, sieht das scheiΓe aus. Auf A4 geht. Also A4 oder A5. WΓΌrde sagen, 10 fΓΌr A5 und 15 fΓΌr A4 + Versand.
HΓ€tte nicht wirklich gedacht dass Interesse da ist.

Γh, bin da nicht so bewandert drucktechnisch, aber mein Freund sagt gerade, es wΓΌrde auch A3 gehen. Er kennt sich damit besser aus.
