hurr hurr hurr I reckon lots of people are going to be doing this sooner or later so I choose sooner
Sooooo here's what came out of my hands and my head this year. Not too bad I guess. Could've been better, could've been a lot worse.
I learned a couple of things from doing this meme.
- the Shift key is my best friend on PhotoShop
- I've drawn mostly original characters this year, and out of those original characters I've definitely drawn Jack the most (see April, May, September, October and December).
- I've done less fanart this year than I did last year. (Or at least, I've posted less fanart this year than I did last year...)
- I'm quite happy with how my style has evolved over the past few months, it's slowly getting to where I want it to be.
December is a completely up to date picture - did it in French class this afternoon. Just a small ballpoint sketch of Jack but I really like it, captures all of his intelligence.

Sweetie, this is why I kept saying your art keeps getting better. every time you post something.
This just proves that your art simply evolved in the last year. You seemed pretty careful back in January, but your art flows much better now, the colors pop, and the characters have movement to them that wasn't properly caught before.
It's been so awesome watching the progress go so quick. c:
