I wanted to stick with a more native Indian approach to his costume, so I googled traditional indian ceremonial clothes and the main clothes were the most often occurrences. The skirt was added because I wanted that brace on the hips and wanted there to be something to hold up, as well as the fact I plan on another long skirted costume for a female OC later down the road.This guy ends up being the 'love interest' for the Antartic Princess, Kathleen, so it took a lot of effort to find an appearance I really liked, but I think I did a pretty good job keeping to something more culturally appropriate while still making it appealing and not exactly human. I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing with this AU yet, because I really don't want to make it a complete and total knockoff of the original series, but I'm having a lot of trouble coming up with a bad guy and a purpose D:

I guess this is my 'glorious' return to dA? Not too special or anything, I've fallen back into this trash fandom and with the help of a very close friend(who's DA escapes me bc of constant account hops), I'm going to be remaking all of my old OC's and just saying "screw new accounts" and all that jazz since I'd like my art to actually be seen lmao. And that won't happen if I'm timid and scared! So I guess expect to see some more activity from me here! <3

His outfit looks very white for the Indian Ocean Prince, since that's the Orange Pearl domain.

Ahhh, well, as a matter of fact, since this is a spinoff from the original show, none of the colors should match the main color's when it comes to domain (though I accidentally made my North Pacific Princess pink...;; ) But his costume is supposed to resemble the fact he has the birthstone Pearl, so his 'pearl' is white, and the rest of the characters have gemstones that matches their birth month instead of having a pearl color to match the day of the week they were born on.

that's understandable. Well, it's simply a personal fan project, after all. I'm simply trying to expand on the original series' concept by adding a ton of things to it, like genders, ethnicities, and the birthstone concept moreover the urani concept that the show follows. Please, don't mind me
