It wasn’t exactly like looking into a mirror, though it was close. The other fox had a slightly longer muzzle, sharper angles in his features, and a smoother slope to the forehead that made the overbearing smugness behind green eyes even more dazzling. Nick stood with his paws in his pockets, keeping his expression blank even as the other male tugged on his tie in a way that said ‘Come hither’ and with just enough force behind it to say ‘I’ll be on top.’ The sharp toothed grin that spread over his reflection’s muzzle told him that this male was just narcissistic enough to sleep with what was effectively himself, too, and without regrets in the morning. To Nick, however, the most noticeable thing about the male was his scent. A scent that held just enough of something sweet to keep his expression blank and his eyes focused even though his paws remained in his pockets.

“You smell like a bunny,” he said to his so-good-looking-it-was-a-sin doppelganger, allowing his tail to twitch once before he continued, “You’d better hope that bunny isn’t mine.”

Nick grinned at the thinly veiled threat. He liked this reynard.

“Don’t you worry, handsome. I have one of my own.”

The likeness was truly uncanny. He was a bit fuller in build with a less hungry feel to him, but other than that they could have passed for twins-a few meager details of difference. He doubted anyone would be able to tell them apart aside from their rabbits. A deliciously fun idea crept into his mind. Nick withdrew a card and slipped it into the chest pocket of the other fox’s coat. From there he slid his paw across his collarbone in a gesture of pure sensuality to the knot of the tie still in his paw.

He straightened the knot and purred, “if you’re ever interested in giving yours a show, call me.”
