You can hardly go wrong when taking pictures of cute kittens and although it’s been done a million times, it never really gets old.
The backlighting really makes the subject stand out and almost makes it seem like a divine creature and most cat owners can agree that they’ve seen their feline companions that way before. Also, the overexposed areas in the frame really enhances the angelic feeling that is felt overall. It might not be the best composition but it increases the honest candid moment captured. The particles of dust and the black and white offers a vintage aspect that is also particularly pleasing.
