Gorgeous model @ LINK .This took about 6 hours.

Tried doing hair and outlines differently.
Changed several things, like the eye colour and the necklace thingy (she reminds me of Ville Valo, ha!).
PS: I know i'm supposed to be on a hiatus, but you guys rock - i viewed so many quality artworks within the past few days and got jacked into gear. My hiatus will come right after this submission, comments and favourites appreciated!

1) I start off by creating the shape of the hair as a whole first - i leave the loose ends free. 2) Then i plot individual strands of hair of different tints here and there, adding more where i want to create volume or reality. 3) Then i also use translucent shapes to highlight the tones of the main hair shape.
You can do either 1+2 or 1+3, or combine all 1+2+3

6 hours is long, i couldve done it within a shorter time if not for my fussiness, kept correcting different parts again and again.
