Oil on Canvas; 16 x 20"I painted this scene once before many years ago but I thought the entire photo, including the fisherman, was worth a painting, too. (see "Heron" in my gallery.)

I had not drawn the heron on the canvas before starting to paint, so he gave me lots of anxiety while "drawing it" with the brush. I love herons, too; I try to put birds in all my paintings!
