The colors and blending/textures you used are easily the strongest factors about this piece. The way it leads your eye to the top right is very pleasant from a design perspective, it all seems to guide you and converge to the focus point.

I'd advise using more vivid, dynamic poses that bring out more of the character, otherwise it's a very boring pose with an empty stare. The shading in the feathers specially is nicely rendered and has plenty of detail; however I feel like the viewer can't appreciate them as much due to the small character against the broad, distracting background.

For a note on the background itself, the only thing that felt empty to me was the fact there are so few stars - splattering some more around the plain blue areas would be best. Making the thicker stars smaller would be good to keep them balanced and uniform.

Overall, a very lovely piece that really caught my eye the moment it appeared in my notifications! Keep up the great work~
