Description I took this in Yellowstone when I visited it this summer. The deep red hue is made by the bacteria which survive in the almost 200F pools of water.

whoa thats a rad shot, like azchic said the contrast in colours is amazing. I wanna go to yellowstone now. Seems like a great place to get some good photos.

This is a great shot! I love the bold, contrasting colors, the way I can't tell what it is at first, the statement made by the dead trees, the textures I can almost feel, the non-traditional dimensions of the photograph...
