This is Steven and Susan Gilson, two main characters of my series, The Gilson Kids.

They are the parents of the seven Gilson Kids; Paige, Deandra, Zach, Alicia, Billy, Jordan, and Logan.

Steven is a big guy who is quiet, stoic, laidback, and easy going. He loves his kids, even though he doesn’t say it much. He works in street construction involving trucks, and owns his own company called “Gilson Trucking”. Steven is the kind of guy who likes to work hard, and is often seen watching TV when at home. He is slightly overweight; the running gag is his wife, Susan, trying to convince him to lose weight.

Susan loves her kids and is willing to do everything she can to raise and support them well. She works as a receptionist at a salon. She is a total neat freak. She is also healthy and likes to work out, unlike her husband, who she tries to get to lose weight.
