Cool art, but satyrs aren't nymphs

Thanks, but satyrs AND nymphs are also fictional legends with no one way people are allowed to portray them in their own fiction.

This is rather interesting, I enjoy the Satyrs very much! I have a few questions about them, actually.
1. When you were working on the Satyrs, was you main inspiration from the Greek mythical creature Peter Pan? I can assume because of the designs of the creatures as well as the hints of musical talent.
2. I'm curious of when you mention about a pink or purple satyr and I would like to know what you mean by that. Is it perhaps because of how they show more magic in their system? It makes me wonder if that would mean they are maybe more intelligent than others even in the wild spectrum.
3. I assume that the Satyrs only range towards the males, but are there female of them as well? Or are they rare to stumble upon them in your world?

1. They were based on Greek satyrs yes, although I’m not quite sure what you mean about “the creature Peter Pan” as while there was a GOD in Greek mythology called Pan, “Peter Pan” is a fiction character in a novel written by a Scottish author XD (there is a character in this world actually based on the Peter Pan story, he has nothing to do with satyrs)
2. All I meant by that section was that Satyrs are usually more natural colors. There’s nothing unique about satyrs who happen to be blue or pink it’s just really rare for them to be born with unnatural colors in terms of the natural world (being that they’re based on goats and sheep how often do you see a naturally blue goat?)
3. Pure, true satyrs are only ever males. All nymphs are only 1 sex and gender across their species, all unicorns are women, all fairies are women, and all satyrs are men. A HALF satyr could possible be female hence why my friend made a half satyr women for our dnd sessions, but beyond aesthetic they aren’t considered true nymphs as they don’t have any magic.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I can see why the name is causing confusion, I meant to say Pan lol(Though I guess Peter Pan also has some musical talent but yeah)
Okay, that would make sense. I just find it interesting that most of the species you make is based mostly on one gender. Thanks for the explanation!

I kinda like playing with those dynamics and kinda playing with feminine and masculine roles and such in fantasy species in general ^^

I say it's a good choice tbh
I don't see many of these ideas pop out very often, so it's a nice change of pace and perspective(seeing how in DnD, many species can vary in any gender whilst those who create worlds and characters tend to bend the general basics, if not go "outside of their comfort zone" in order to make something completely different). This is just so cool in general lol
