Introducing the Dreamscape Stalker species. This is one of my personal closed species, please do not make one of your own. They can only be obtained through adoption.

Rare Male Stalker, he's closed. This stalker is consumed by dreamlust. The amoeba is quite large and erratic. He's a greedy stalker, who isn't picky about the dreams he collects and consumes. His amoeba will pluck and grab anything that comes close enough to get it's tendrils on.

Dreamscape Stalker species info:

The Dreamscape Stalker is a symbiotic species living in the Dreamscape Plane. They stalk the planes of our dreamscape to collect our dreams while we sleep. When you wake up and cannot remember your dream, that is because one of these beings has come along to collect it. Dreams are stored within the amoeba like creature attached to their back. This creature and the stalker live a symbiotic lifestyle. The amoeba being able to transform as needed to help the stalker in its collecting. Growing tentacles for grabbing, armor for defending, padding for landing and so on. It's job is to keep the stalker safe and store the dreams it's stalker has collected. The stalker can view these dreams anytime they like with their third eye. Their multiple ears work similar to antenna, tracking after dreams. Stalkers with blind third eyes can no longer see the dreams they have collected. Some will still seek out and collect dreams using their ears as guides. Other's will close in on themselves and never collect dreams again. Stalker's have thick claws, horns and tusks for defending against violent dreams. They can take on a feral form. This smaller form can make moving around and remaining undetected easier. Stalker's are usually solitary hunters. Spending their lives mostly alone. Only coming together during mating season. During this time, the male stalker will collect and offer dreams to potential mates. Female stalker's tend to be on the smaller side, with a curvy build. Females are calmer and more docile. While the males are quite large with a much more muscular build. Males are more aggressive and assertive. There are rare cases where these body builds and personality traits are swapped around. There are some stalker's with a slim build and low musculature. These stalker's are sickly. Their slim build show's that they are underfed and cannot collect the dreams needed to build up their form. These stalker's have a hard time finding mates. Stalker's give live birth, with whelps being born in litters of two to four. Females have a tendency to abandon offspring if a litter is too large for them to properly care for. Some female's will come together during the whelping season to work together to care for larger litters or for more safety during this time. These groups can consist of several females and their offspring. Whelping season is the time that most females get aggressive. They become particularly dangerous once they have had offspring. Males are shunned during this time, being run off by the females when coming close to the whelping grounds. Males will kill offspring to control the females heat, causing her to become receptive to mating once more. Whelp's grow rapidly. Being able to leave the whelping grounds within two cycles. At this point the young stalker can actively stalk their own dreams and have started their own collections. Whelps are fully grown and ready to mate once they have reached ten cycles. The period of time between leaving the whelping grounds and full maturity is spent honing their skills and growing larger collections. Males will sometimes form small bands to hunt and live together. Offering the ability to collect more dreams in a ravenous way. These bands will cause devastation around the dreamscape, leaving large areas a barren wasteland. Stalkers can become consumed by dreamlust and are avoided by others of their species. These greedy stalkers will consume everything around them, leaving resources scarce. They are extremely aggressive and will attack anything their sight falls on.
