like when I commented the overseer a long time ago I compared you with "Joe Maduiera" creator of Battle Chasers.. again i must say the resemblence to Sully is quite spot on .... but still much darker.. and more of a "The Maxx" feel to the painting..

-blinks- now thats a great use of those scetchs. I am still glad i'm a veggie. the metal going through the chops body is really scary but really effective. only thing it that the lil dude the energy beneath him i think it would look better if it was casing mor light on Chop cause the light on his head is stronger then that of the lil dude's energy next to him. The backround it nicely blended to not take to much attention away from the chara's. great job luv.

As you may have noticed in my prior comment, I asked for a refined n' colored version of the characters before I saw that you had posted this... and I am stunned! But in a good way! Heh...
The wallpaper image you placed the two characters in suits them so well, and the cg'ing you did on them and their surroundings is perfect and effective. The shading and lighting is great, and the tones used are subtle, yet poignant. I dig the treatment of the logo, and the layout is just appealing and workable as a desktop image. Truly, I'm even more amazed then I was yesterday when I just saw the sketches of these two. Yet again, a wonderful job on an already impressive deviation.

Woah. This is absofuckinglutely amazifying man. I love the character design, and the rugged lines and colours of this one are great. The background does need a little work though, maybe a ghostly old tree or something would be cool. Anyway, this is the best thing i have seen all day, top work man, keep it coming. niice. great linework and characters as usual, and your colouring is improving. have you tried selecting the highlight/shadow areas with the lasso tool and airbrushing inside the selections? i find find you can have more control over the shadows/highlights that way, or maybe not

Really LOVE the characters, especially the levitating kid. I wouldnΒ΄t be surprised if he is more powerful than the big guy.
Regarding the composition, I think the background is missing a lot. It is too empty. Some stars and clouds would probably suffice, but with your skills you could make something really good.
I would love to see these two in a comic where they are evil personalities, but the big fella is rather stupid and the small one commands him around. Both try to accomplish some nasty deed, but something always gets in the way. Would need some funny one-liners then, though ...
