“Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest...for my yoke is easy to bear and the burden I give you is light.”
--Matthew chapter 11: 28-30

I cannot say that the burden I give you is light...I cannot say my yoke is easy to bear, but I give you the promise that I try. Failing seems to be the ultimate fate. But I try.

To a friend once had I say... I can only give what I have and I can only apologize for what has been given. No harm was meant, but being human, I cannot stick to perfection. And I know I’m far from it.

When I apologize, I mean it. I forget what has gone on and I will smile again. I put the past behind me and live with the lessons I have learned.

So...to a friend once had I say...My apology is here. Take it or leave it or let it hang but I don’t mind. I forgive you...whether you want it or need it, it exists and it will be left, taken or hung. It is your choice.

Little things mean so much. Such a small thing can become so big. A fuse to a bomb...whatever you like to call it.

To a friend once had I say... whether you are mad at me for who I am or for what I do I will still exist. I will not change. Watch me suffer, watch me cry, but do not lay a hand on me. I will bear it.

Open arms are the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced. To be taken in and loved even when I am filth...its unexplainable.

So...to a friend once had I say...My arms are open. Even years down the road they will be that way. Stab me or hug me...neither will I flinch at.

Watch me smile as the blood drips down my lips. For my burden is light and your attacks cannot destroy me. Grin and bear it...how about live and take it? I’ll take all you have to give especially what hurts.
