I just finished up taking a figure construction class from comicsexperience.com. It was a seven week class and the final assignment was to create a one page illustration (either one "splash" image or a sequential page) that utilized the lessons learned during the course. Several of the writers that are part of the site's Workshop were asked to provide scripts for us to choose from. This particular script is a Ka-Zar story written by Bret Bernal. I liked it because folks in the Savage Land don't really care for clothing so I didn't have a fabric getting in the way of what I've been learning about. Plus it had both male and female characters and not too many panels.

The class was expertly instructed by and was worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling even slightly with their figure building.
