The second I heard this song, this came to mind. Because they sing about death, and trying to hold on, because they don't want the light (your life) to be taken, the light behind your eyes. Though I can't say I've had a suicide/depressing thing like this happen, I know it does happen with some others, and I felt like it was just any YouTuber that you love singing this to you, if you ever had a bad time and need help. They're telling you to hold on, because they're your light.
