When these two fight, they can forget how much they love each other.

The "T-Cest" and "Bro-Fluff" stuff aside, there's r eal significance here from the fan pov. Raphael ever since the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movies of the late 80's early90's and the 2003 TMNT series & the most recent movie TMNT has been the turtle who takes the world on his shoulders and always struggles with jealousy and rage. This perfectly fits his character, and Leonardo's being the mature one trying to balance everything. Definately has a stronger connection to the old school comic turtles than the hijinks and comedy of the 1980's animated series. Good song choice and perfect freeze frames for the composite.

Raph has been the group's hothead since the original run of the comics. The First TMNT film drew heavily on several of the Mirage series of the comics for story and character development, indeed the whole thing with The Foot directly attacking the Turtles, the Second Time Around Shop burning and the retreat and the healing and character-development in the countryside, comes--with some minor rewriting-- right out of Issues #10-11, presaged with Leo's "Microseries" (It's Leo who's felled by The Foot when he ventured out on his own, not Raph). This was perfect fodder for cinema to exploit, and it has.

Yeah. Wikipedia has a rather nice entry on Raphael. Go check it out.
