Ok, so I've been thinking, of all the games I've played and of all the anime that I've watched, there are a few of the female characters that I have favored, so to contribute to all that, I've decided to compile a list of my top ten favorite female characters from video games and anime. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

First on our top ten list is Ilia from The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. For those of you that never played it, she is one of the side characters in Twilight Princess. For those of you that did, I bet you were expecting Midna or Zelda. The reason why I chose Ilia as my number one on my top ten is because of her caring personality; well, most of that caring went to Epona, Link's horse. Before Link left for Hyrule, she was in the middle of wishing Link a safe journey and was about to give Link a charm, that is until the Bulbins attacked and kidnapped her. Later on in the game you have to work towards recovering her memory due to it somehow being wiped out by the Bulbins. After going through the hidden village, old-spaghetti western style, and getting the charm from the old lady, you return it to Ilia, thus recovering her memory. I swear, this part of the game when she gets her memory back and she had that heart-to-heart moment with Link, which hints that she had feelings for Link, almost made me cry and for a second feeling a little jealous for our well-known Hylian hero that he knows someone like her. Almost makes me wish that I have someone in my life like her.

Well, there you have it for number one on my top tens list, Ilia, and for that, she gets a heart from me. No, two hearts. No, FIVE!!! A BAJILLION HEARTS!!!!!
