Manuel Pablo Gutierrez O'Brien Equihua Rivera (or Manny Rivera) was born on March 3rd, 1990. At age 13, he passed away after defeating Sartana's giant. The cause of death was that he fell down along with Senor Chapi on a car and getting hurt by a pack of wolves. This was taken from an El Tigre episode "Fistful of Nickels" and also in the El Tigre Pilot. This was a very sad moment, and he will be in all of hearts, even as a cartoon. He had never given up. He helped his family alot, even though he mistakenly causes trouble, like throwing a party at the Riveras' house in Fistful of Nickels. But he made his dad very proud by making him up to him and paying him back for all the damage. Luckily, Manny's family and Frida (his best friend) was still alive from the boss fight with Sartana. Manny was a good young lad. He made everyone laugh from our childhood, he saved almost everyone's lives, and made everyone's nostalgia, he helped everyone else, he was Frida's best friend, he made the best jokes with Frida, and he loved watching other shows. His death was on June 16, 2008. And since it's Hispanic Heritage Month, I just wanted to do a tribute on Manny's behalf, because well, Manny is from Mexico, and as a cartoon, he will always be remembered no matter what. His favorite song is Stereo Hearts by Adam Levine.

The funeral service for him will be on Sunday 9AM at J W Williams Funeral Home
