NOT MY LINEART <3Lineart by: (he said anyone could color his lineart, and I could not resist the cuteness of this piece... XD)
I did do all the coloring, medium used was Photoshop CS.
My choice to use dark colors for one of the girls (the one with the ears and tail, coincidentally), was inspired by a particular friend of mine, who likes/wears/is a relatively dark person. And then I'm very girly and like pink and purple and other such colors, so that sort of inspired my color choice. Hope y'all like it.

Thistle, how did you make it so the outlines are colored so neatly and cleanly? I use photoshop as well, and the only way I know is to color them with paint brush (if I use paint bucket it will come out really messy with unwanted extra pixels being colored as well).
I'm flattered that you wanted to colore me pic btw. I'm also quite impressed you chose this one, because I couldn't make the picture clean enough to be completely color-friendly.

well, it's painstaking... but I use the pen tool, zoomed in close enough to make the lines very fine, but it ends up appearing kinda vectorized. Again, it takes a lot of time, but I end up going over ALL the lines with the pen tool, and so I don't even use the original lines at all in the final piece. (As in, I can delete the lines behind the image and it dosent change, I obviously used them as an exact guide) And because of that, it wasn't hard at all to color this image, vs another one with cleaner lines. n_n;
And I adore this picture. It's amazing, I wish I could draw like that too, and then I could have awesome art that's all my own.

I know, ain't it? I credit ze line artist. My version's much more cheerful and cartoony than his original which was very soft... sepia colored and such. :3
