short version:

one of my characters from an RP me and do, taking place in a future version of Azeroth from World of Warcraft!
her name is Axxill, she’s a goblin deathknight, and she’s been obsessively watching over her late partner/boyfriend/murder-friend’s family for so long that they’ve basically adopted her as everyone’s weird Aunt.

long version:
   Axxill was in love with and a little obsessed with another deathknight named Orbllzoky (Naidhtbomb’s character)
   the two of them found his family and started a guild with a few of them and their friends. she got super attached to them, and started to get obsessed with helping them. she gets obsessive about a lot of things.
   eventually she finds out that Orbllzoky is planning on killing the whole guild and raising them to be undead so they’d be immortal. she tried to convince him not to, but he refused to change his plans. he believed they’d all be happy together forever if he turned them undead, and didn’t want to watch them get old and die.
   she warned his family and tried to hide them, but one of Orbllzoky’s cousins and a Demon Hunter who’d joined the guild ran off, found Orbllzoky, and killed him.
   Axxill was devastated, but understood that they couldn’t just hide away forever or let themselves be hunted down and zombified. she got even more protective of the guild and family, Orbllzoky had wanted his family to be happy and safe forever, so she decided to make sure it would be.
   she stayed with the family for decades, helping with everything from world-saving quests to smuggling illegal substances to babysitting. she watched the family grow and the guild become an infamous gang. she held new babies and watched them grow up into strong warriors, clever rouges and powerful mages. she loved them all so much, and expressed it often.
   by this point she’s part of the family. she’s not actually married or related to anyone in it, but the current generation all calls her “Aunt Axxill” and she’s invited to family gatherings. she loves them so much, and they love her back.
