Description
a tentative design for a character in one of my stories.
he's very loosely based on the 'Fleshgait' cryptid and the idea of Revenants.
he can mimic voices, disguise himself as any humanoid he's eaten, and can psychically manipulate people near him into believing that he (as long as he's disguised) is someone they know.
he was once a human, and still has memories of his life before, but has a much lower capacity for empathy and care. he has a loose set of rules for himself, and longs for companionship, but instinctively views humans as prey. he tends to target people who are alone, or lure specific members of a group away and leave the rest.
