Description
Purpley!Something about night-time bugs and pollination or something.
Pencil drawing, colour and background and some other stuff photoshop. Certainly full of technical flaws, just one of those badly (read: non) planned things done completely for fun (making a bunch of superfluous details is fun).
Personally, making pictures properly, meaning with lots of thought, and consideration, and with some end goal in mind hardly ever works out right and is never any fun.
Probably too dark on some moniters, but I don't wanna make it any brighter

Just superb, a wonderful piece of work.
Sometime the work we do on the spur of the moment can have a creative energy we miss in other work. It's that piece that you begin and cant stop working on till the early hours that often has that 'zing'.
PS
On my 20" iMac the tonal range seems a little flat but monitors differ and it depends on whether you scanned it or took a photograph of it how the colours come out.

i love this, the effect of the lighting is great.. she looks like she's just drifting past a camera light or something. this has the feel of something from the early part of the 1900's... love it

There's something about this that reminds me of sculptures or paintings by the old masters. So eerie! I love the mystery and anonymity about it. Everything is just beautiful! Well done
