I've never been to Waimea bay, but I've always wanted to. I love how you managed to capture the feel of the wave as it curls over and catches. That is beautiful.

Oh, I definately remember Waimea Bay -- I always thought it was one of the more beautiful spots in a place that is beauty incarnate -- this and Haunama Bay were among my favorite places when I lived on Oahu
The big island though, is probably the place I love the most in Hawaii.

This is done well and is extremely evocative of the huge rollers that come into Waimea in the winter.
