Well, as one said below, it looks a little bit like a painting. The object has a strong 3D structure. but theΒ photo brings it down to to a 2D patchwork of different forms.

Sorry, it isn't a painting, although I also do paintings and I admit it looks like. It's a small detail of a sculpture I found in a park. The use of a slight telephoto and the shadows of the low sun converted it from a 3D to a more 2D perspective. So thanks for your kind comment!
