I think moss and mushrooms are my two favourite things to take macro shots of... moss especially. So many tiny little parts! Just like so many of these tiny little droplets...

I agree. I sometimes give myself the assignment of taking a macro, a scenic, and a portrait....WITHOUT leaving my property!! It's amazing what you see when you REALLY look!

Yepp! I need to start uploading some of my portraits I think.

By the way...I saw what that low-life said about Scar. I'd be infuriated along side you if I wasn't just so disappointed. You know, I love America, as I love Canada..Both are technically my home. Yet some of the "rights" that we have, have become maybe questionable in modern times. I won't get into some comments I have on the people who created our initial constitutions, but I think one thing humanity has to realize is that we need to be flexible with the way we run things...as times change, so do our laws, ideals and ways of doing things need to change.

Freedom of speech should only apply to people who have positive or at the very least constructive things to say and contribute. There are those, like our low-life in question, who need to see that privilege removed. Freedom of thought and opinion is one thing, straight up insults and gross, hurtful things coming out of the being of anyone is simply not acceptable. It isn't about our nature, or who we think we are. Like one of my favorite characters, Prot said, "every being in the universe knows right from wrong." We will never all agree on everything, but self-restraint (when it comes to hurting others) and empathy need to be the focus in our societies. At least that's MY opinion.

And that little bugger is lucky I have not the time nor patience to go find and give him the what-what. They're a dime a dozen, man...Your sweetie is right. I understand the frustration, I do...I feel it myself. Yet at the same time...I know where nasty words and thoughts like that come from. And where those things come from is a place of hurt and confusion in itself...someone is trying to cope with something else, and all too often takes it out on someone who not only has nothing to do with it, but someone who would probably truly care if this mean young person were to open up rather than lash out. I would among everything else just rest on the fact that no word, or meanness, no matter how small or large cannot touch the beauty that shines from You, Scar, and what you two and the rest of your family represent.
