Description
A wave came into this very small inlet at just the right angle at the right time. It was sort of made of two waves and as it rebounded off the walls of the inlet (left of frame) much of the water curved around and suddenly was coming from behind and the sides of me, deep enough to wash over my shoes up to my ankles! Soaker the rest of the trip haha. I knew it could happen but I'm more concerned about the camera so I draw the line at shoes. It's not worth it to risk your gear, I like to think I learned that before I got near the coast!

This frame was taken seconds after my feet were covered as it all flowed back out...I just kept shooting! Then I left happy.
