And finally it is done.I've been working on this picture for an obscene period of time. I actually began this before I even sketched the Maki beach drawing. A year ago.
Anyway, I tried to convince Electra that I wanted a model to sit in a comfy chair. With her boots off. And with her in a tantalizing pose. But of course I wasn't drawing her feet, they happened to by in the way... Though I think the picture on the wall of the tall red head on the beach laying on a towel and not furniture gave me away.
Silliness aside, my penchant for obsucre/tomboy-esque/short-haired/badass characters instantly drew me to Electra Ovilo. Though she only appears in the Movie Knocking on Heaven's Door, she is easily my favorite Cowboy Bebop character. I got the idea for this when in the movie she essentially gets in trouble with her employers. Though noting even remotely like this happens, I always thought that if I were her boss, any bad thing she did would earn her time in My Chair, where all sorts of things could happen to her feet. And her. Oh the harassment suits that would be filed against me.

Thanks a lot! It was the really the shading that consumed most of the hours for this, so I'm very happy it came out well. I was worried the shading wouldn't do the perspective justice, so I kind of over-worked it, if you will.
