Totally with the other commentators here: beautiful, raw emotion, conveys the intensity of the situation. Excellent work!
Also, it's pretty rare at times to find custom Sheps, let alone Sheps that are not, necessarily, white in racial/ethnic origin. Since representation matters, I pay special attention when I see a custom Shep like yours. I admin a Facebook page called Mass Effect Female Shepard although it's entirely possible that you already know that if I've been in touch with you before. Anyway, if you're willing, I'd love to add this to our albums, or share it from your own FB page if you have one. Let me know if that's OK.

Thank you! And sharing my art is fine by me as long as it's accompanied by a link back to my DA account.

Hey I did exactly that... Except I forgot to tell you that I'd done it, apparently! Just so you can check, here's where it is now: www.facebook.com/FemShep/photoβ¦
Sorry for the delay in letting you know, and thank you so much for permission to share! I think it got 30 likes? Many fans appreciated it. One made me laugh though - apparently before they looked at the full picture, they mistook Shepard's gloved thumb for a moustache on Kaidan! LoL - I hadn't thought of that. Even so, I think it would kinda work! LoL
It's a really touching piece, this one, and intimacy is a hard thing to draw. Well done and thanks again!

Hah! When I zoomed out for the first time after colouring it, I too thought "...damn. When did Kaidan get a droopy moustache?"
