You stare outside the window in your room, Sollux had promised you he would come see you today. He had moved away for three years and he just got back yesterday, he lives a few blocks away but he would come soon. You never told him but you loved him dearly, he meant the world to you and when he left it nearly killed you. Suddenly you see a decently tall guy running to your driveway, that was him. Dressed in a red and blue hoodie, just like always, he seemed exactly the same. You rush down stairs to open the door for him, and just as you open it, he was just about to knock on the door.

"Sollux!" you say happily as you tackle hug him, he nearly falls over, he wasn't expecting it.

"Hey ____, nice to see you," he replies pulling from your hug with a huge smile on his face. He always smiled around you, he could never be upset, at least not with you around. You guys were the greatest friends when you were kids, went to the same schools and always had the same classes. You were the best team, and no one could deny that.

"Well come in! I made some cookies, and we could play some video games or watch a movie or something," you say quickly, you could hardly breathe. You were just so crazily happy he was here, that you guys could talk for hours. You lead him to the kitchen and let him help himself to some cookies, you ate a few yourself. Being excited always made you super hungry!

"Maybe we could play a game or thomething," he says swallowing the last cookie,

"We could play Modern Warfare," you reply hopping off your chair. He grins, you knew exactly what games he liked, and he was happy you still remembered. You both head into the game room and start playing some video games, mostly first person shooters. You weren't really a big fan, but you played them for him. You cared too much about him to try and get him to play something else. After about an hour of playing, you realize your parents are not home yet, but you thought, it doesn't really matter. You both head upstairs to your bedroom, he plops in the beanbag chair on the floor, and you sit in the one beside it.

"You know _____, ii really mithed you," he says, looking straight at you.

"I really missed you too Sollux," you reply, you begin twiddling your thumbs, trying so hard not to blush. You wanted to say so much more than that, but you were deeply afraid to do so. He slowly slides his beanbag closer to yours, and he grabs you by the hand, with the other he lifts your head to look at him.

"____ ii really mithed you becauthe...becauthe...ii," he pauses, "ii love you, ii really do."

Your face lights up, he lifts you from your beanbag and onto his lap. He holds you close to him, with a tight but comforting grip. He lifts your head again and he kisses you, you feel a rush go through you. It was soft and passionate, he had his hands wrapped around your waist and yours were around his neck. You played with his hair, you wished that this would never end, his lips were so warm, and he made you feel so comfortable. You could never be happier than you were that day on, you guys started dating after that, and within a few years you married him. If he hadn't had moved back, you would be the saddest girl in the entire universe. He was there though, and the one he loved was you, and every time you thought that, your heart danced in your chest.
