You stare from behind your shades as John suddenly collapses to the ground, clutching his stomach.

“JOHN!” you yell rushing over to him, as you watch him hit the ground. The only thing holding him up was his other arm,

“Dude! You alright?...dude….speak to me man!” you say worriedly,

“Dave….c….calm down,” he says weakly, looking up at you, “..im…alright….”

“We got to find someone…you need help!” you say, you never sounded more scared in your life, other than when Bro died. You couldn't lose John; he was your best bro.

“No..I…I won’t be able to…get anywhere…” he said, a bit of color drained from his face. His blood pouring onto your pants, you lifted him in your arms and began running.

“..Not…if I can help it…” you pant as you run faster, trying to find Jade, or Rose, or….anyone.

“Dave….please….i…it’s no use….” He said as he started to cough heavily, that’s when you stopped running. You kneeled on the ground, and lay him in front of you.

“…you…you’re….really not going to…make it….are you…” you say, you watch as he shook his head weakly. You stroke his soft hair, as tears began running down your face.

“…D…Dave…please don’t cry….please….” he said, lifting his arm and wiping the tears off your face with his thumb, “..c…cool kids don’t cry….r…remember?”

“Cool kids can cry…for other cool kid’s bro….” you say, pulling him into a hug, trying not to hurt him. His blood was staining your favorite shirt, you didn't care though, John was more important. He weakly hugs you back, both of you are crying. You pull away and gently lay him back down. You both stay there, for a few minutes, in silence,

“…well….this is the end….huh…” you say, staring at him through your shades.

“…i..i guess….” He says, tears still running down his face. You put your hand on your shades, and slowly pull them off.

“….guess I won’t be needing these….huh…” you say staring at John with your red eyes; he was a bit taken aback by this.

“..no…keep…keep wearing them…” he says, but you shake your head.

“..I’ll never be cool….without my best bro….” you say moving the hair out of his face, as he closes his eyes,

“Good night..John….you’ll always be alive in my heart….”
