Here is a picture of a happy couple that I made up called Hayden and Jessica.

I'm still finding it difficult to draw original characters; for me, it's more work for a less satisfying result! But I think it's coming, and I'm happy enough with this one to share it (there's a bit I think is weaker than the rest, but I won't say what... maybe you'll all think it's something else!). I've tried to use what I have picked up (re. nose and mouth particularly) from drawing Extreme Ghostbusters fanfiction, thus these guys should appear somewhat in that style.

I didn't think there was anything low quality about my scanner until I took up drawing! If there's a way to make it show up the colours better, I haven't found it. But I want it known that I really tried not to have the bedding be too close to anything else in colour! For some degree of proof, you might like to look at this (overall less sharp) photographed copy of the same image:
