Emily needed a break, badly. She needed some time away and to just cooperate and function by herself. Just her and one horse. That's it. She so badly wanted to bring Intensity, but her boy seemed so happy grazing, getting fat, next to Cold in their pasture. Plus, she didn't want to fight trying to get a saddle on him either. She thought for a moment and knew that Synergize had to be a perfect candidate. She loved the spunky mares attitude and getting away would help. Nathen insisted on going to help her but she wanted to be alone. Nathen agreed and they headed off to the competition.
When they arrived everything went smoothly. It was bitterly cold but the two didn't mind. They were used to freezing weather. Emily still put a blanket on Synergize to keep her warm. The bonding began between the two. They practiced and played in the snowy fields. However, their time together stopped when the competition started. It was game time. The weather had drastically dropped and snow started to fall heavier as the girls approached their round. Finally they were called. The snow started falling harder and making visibility almost impossible to read. But Emily scwinted through it and followed the markers. Snow started to build up on their backs and on the saddle and bridle. Finally they had completed and saluted. Emily quickly dismounted and threw a blanket over the mare and her. "Good job girlie" she smiled petting her nose and the mare neighed and put her nose against Emily's warm body.
"Now lets go get some warm water for you and a hot chocolate for me!" Emily smiled leading away from the arena.

-So sorry for being a bit inactive. Having a death in my family was hard and Christmas delayed all contact of DA and Photoshop. I got this finished awhile ago but never got around to submitting.
