Description Eostre, Heathen goddess of April, spring and the dawn. The modern festival of Easter is named after her.

Hares and eggs are modern symbols for her but are so obvious they may have great antiquity too.

Loads of imagination thrown in her.

Bede helpfully told us that the Anglo-Saxons named April (Eostremonth) after the goddess Eostre. Her name is related to the word East.

Thats it, thats all we know about her. He mentions another goddess called Hretha who gave her name to March but she gets largely ignored. You need chocolate eggs to be famous clearly

I've read about her! Nice job with the colors. They are so bright and vibrant. They really bring out the fact that she is the goddess of Spring.
