I have a great love of Romanesque art, both its simplicty and the beauty of its foliate motives. As it was the art style that followed the Heathen culture in Northern Europe it seems fitting to use in modern Heathen art.

I do like to use symbolism, here herons, heron feathers and rushes reflect Frigga's links to the marshlands. Here handmaidens are identified by tools indicating their roles. Gna has a carter's rattle.
