And nope, actually your hunch is right! This was entirely done with (water based) ink. (Except for that digital grey multiply layer lol)

Personally 5ds is my favorite yugioh's spin-off! *^* But I don't know why, it's always the one I draw the less haha

Yes, 5D's really was something.... It had lots of flaws (just like any other ygo series lol), but I enjoyed it a lot. I think it's the spinoff with the most natural-feeling characters. I'm bad at putting it into words but almost all the characters were so genuine and well-rounded? I really liked that

Oh I see what you mean!
Personally I really liked to see how they have grew up in the future! And since I watched it right after gx which made me feel so depressed because of the end which is so sad, I think that was one of the things which made me like this show so much!
When everything start in the worst way but end in a happy ending, it's the best thing I think! *^*
