this is an acrylic on canvas painting i did for my girlfriends birthday who happens to be a huge bowie fan.i used gold leaf for the circle on his forehead which is why its so bright...."is there life on mars?"Related content

if you dont mind me asking, i use acrylic they come out prettiest to me, how do you get them to blend so well? by the time I get the next color that I need to blend it has dried enough where it refuses to go through the process smoothly

thank you! i somes times blend using the acrylic watered down and apply it in layers..i did his face in monocromatic green then put orange over top then white highlights...it makes a skin tone!! i think the old masters used to do this with oil...

wow thats so incredible, the skin tone thing, i always have trouble getting the same colors throughout skin. the reblending always gets me
